Wilson-Lamourine earned her bachelor of arts from Wesley College in psychology in 2004. She continued her studies at Wilmington University where she earned her master of science in clinical mental health counseling in 2016.
Her previous roles included academic advisor and director of career pathways at Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, AR. There she managed a $438,000 Career Pathways Initiative (CPI) grant that provided support services to underrepresented low-income students that are also managing parenthood.
Most recently she was the employment services specialist at Delaware Technical Community College in Georgetown, DE. Her role was to assist job seekers to develop realistic and achievable employment goals and outcomes.
“Kendall will bring a great deal of experience to this position,” said Director of Student Success & Retention Christine McDermott. “In addition, we are very excited to welcome home a Wesley graduate with a passion for her alma mater.”
Wilson-Lamourine has also earned certifications including National Certified Counselor, Mental Health First Aid and Certified Global Career Development Facilitator. She is a member of Delaware Professional Counselors Association and American Counseling Association.
