Wesley Announces 2017 Homecoming Court

Wesley College announced their 2017 Homecoming Court during the Pep Rally on October 13. The court was recognized the following day during halftime of the football game against Kean University.

After the crowning ceremony, the court will assume many responsibilities, including hosting a community service activity. Mr. and Ms. Wesley College will participate in community service projects, organize a class gift, and will become ex-officio members on the Alumni Association Board of Directors.

The criteria to be selected onto the Homecoming Court are as follows: must be a full-time student, must have 12 hours of credit at Wesley, must have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and must be in good standing with the College. A process based on an interview worth 60% and popular vote by students worth 40% selected the winners.

The 2017 Homecoming Court winners:

Class of 2021: Kaylah Thomas, Baroness and Jared Hill, Baron.

Class of 2020: Kyra Wesby, Duchess and Rex Chege, Duke.

Class of 2019: Ny’Jah Wilcox, Princess and Corey Johnson, Prince.

Class of 2018: Kaylynn Hall, Ms. Wesley College and Luis Artega, Mr. Wesley College.
