Wesley College Cannon Scholar Kylea Lankford was selected as a Delaware IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) Summer Scholar Performance Award winner. This is the first time a Cannon Scholar has received this honor.
Winners of this award demonstrate 1) enthusiasm and a high level of engagement in the project, 2) ability to work well with others and be a good “citizen” within the research group and 3) show potential to develop into an excellent researcher. The award includes a $100 monetary prize. Lankford’s long term goal is to enter a dental program after graduation.
