Alumni Spotlight: As an active writer for the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Graduate Studies’ blog, Wesley Biological Chemistry alumnae wrote a recent article about researchers combining antifungal drugs with chemotherapeutics to reduce pancreatic tumor growth. Studying the relationship between fungi and tumor progression is a growing field, and hopefully this type of research will soon lead to clinical trials that will increase patient survival rates.
