Graduates will be permitted to bring no more than four (4) guests to the ceremony; this count does include infants, babies, children, etc. There will be no exceptions to this at all. It took over a month to get permission for an in-person, outdoor commencement.
No additional tickets can or will be provided; we cannot share the list of graduates with you for you to ask one another for extra tickets not being used; sharing the list of graduates would be a FERPA violation.
** Graduates from 2020-2021 – your tickets will be with your cap and gown when you pick it up.
** Graduates from 2019-2020 – your tickets will be mailed to you via certified mail; once your tickets have been mailed we will let you know.
Cap, Gown & Ticket Update
Per Barnes & Noble (B&N; Wesley’s Bookstore), cap and gowns will arrive sometime on Monday, May 10th. B&N cannot give us a specific arrival time right now. Therefore, on Tuesday, May 11th from 9am until 7pm, AAO will be dedicating College Center, room 206, for students (local and otherwise) to come to campus and pick up their cap, gown, and guest tickets.
If students cannot come on Tuesday, May 11th to get their cap, gown, and guest tickets in person, we will overnight mail it to them. We asked that students provide their current mailing address using a google form in the email. They were also given additional options to pick up their cap, gown, and tickets but they had to select those options on the google form.
*** PLEASE NOTE: If any student has a balance on their account they CANNOT pick up their cap, gown, and tickets until it is paid; payments must be received by COB on Thursday, May 13th.
We have created an email address for any additional questions that may arise: email@example.com.
