SUBJECT: Spring Commencement Activities

Congratulations! You have achieved an important milestone, and your perseverance and hard work have brought you to this success. Below is detailed information about Commencement!

Commencement
The Commencement Ceremony will be Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1:30pm on Drass Field at Scott D. Miller Stadium. At this time, only those candidates who completed the participation form, sent out from the Academic Affairs Office, are able to participate.

On Commencement day, Candidates are asked to arrive promptly at 12:30 p.m. to Bob Reed Field (outfield) adjacent to Scott D. Miller Stadium. Those arriving after 1 p.m. will not be able to process. Student Marshals will be present to provide instructions.

Please note: Your friends and family members will not be able to enter the stadium until 12:45 p.m. and they must wear a mask, maintain social distancing, have their ticket and completed COVID pass. Friends and family members are required to complete the COVID Pass ONLY within 24 hours and provide proof of the completed pass (either in print or on a phone). If you chose to not participate in person, there will be a live stream link shared at a later date and your names will be announced during the ceremony.

Per the State of Delaware, Wesley College is only permitted to provide 4 tickets per student for friends and family members. Please note, the ceremony will be held outdoors unless there is dangerous weather (thunder or lighting). In the case of dangerous weather that would prohibit having commencement outdoors, we have reserved the auditorium at Dover High School. If Commencement is moved indoors, guests will not be permitted; more detailed information will be provided by the end of April. If necessary, we will post a change of venue on the College website the day before Commencement.
