Nursing Department Accreditation and Approval

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

The Wesley College Bachelor of Science program is approved by the Delaware State Board of Nursing. The BSN, MSN and Post-master’s Certificate in Adult-Gerontology programs are fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Wesley College is fully-accredited through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, and operates as an independent liberal arts and sciences college affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Several majors are accredited through field-specific accreditation commissions.

Expected level of achievement: At least 75% of students will complete the nursing program within 143% of the allotted time counted from the semester they take the first nursing clinical course (NR107 for generic students; NR203 for LPNs).

NCLEX Examination Data

Expected level of achievement: At least 80% of test-takers will pass NCLEX-RN on their first attempt during the annual time frame of October 1st of one year to September 30th of the next year.
