Wesley Students from various organizations and clubs took time to volunteer at the November 4th Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) One Walk in Dover. The national event brings together more than 900,000 people across the country to change the future for everyone living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). This fun, family–friendly event gives people with T1D—and their friends, family and co–workers—the opportunity to raise money for life-changing T1D research. Locally more than 50 students including nursing and masters in occupational therapy, and campus groups including Fairy God Sisters, Living Learning Community Fit to Serve and Alpha Phi Omega all helped the organization during the event.
