Wesley College Student Success Outreach Coordinator, Chelsey Vest, was awarded a NACADA (National Academic Advising Association) Region 2 Graduate Student Scholarship. NACADA fosters and supports quality academic advising in institutions of higher education to improve the educational development of students.
“Chelsey is a great example of the dedication of Student Success & Retention staff,” said Director of Student Success and Retention Christine McDermott. “We are excited to see her recognized for her research and her dissertation at this event.”
The organization offers a forum for discussion, debate, and the exchange of ideas pertaining to academic advising through a variety of events and activities, as well as special publications.
Scholarship winners are entitled to a complimentary one-year general membership to NACADA, a complimentary Region 2 conference registration for this year’s conference, and recognition at the event at Dover Downs in Dover, DE from March 21-23, 2018.
