The article, “An Innovative Interprofessional Simulation: Preparing Students to Tackle the Challenge of Care Transitions” demonstrates the effectiveness of a one-day workshop to improve interprofessional skills in healthcare students, focusing mainly on the increases of verbal and written communication during the Transition of Care of a standardized patient. Improvements were noticed in 9 of 14 areas measured by the Attitudes Toward Healthcare Teams Scale.
