Over the weekend, the Wesley College men’s lacrosse team hosted a free clinic for the Campus Community Middle School boy’s lacrosse team.
It is the first year that the Campus Community School has put together a middle school team. Wesley coaches and players taught the fundamentals of the game and spent time with the students improving their stick work and the basic rules of the game.
“This is the first time many of the students ever picked up a lacrosse stick,” said head coach Bill Gorrow. “Our team is fortunate to help grow the sport for the future generations.”
